A clear or lien-free car title simply means that you own your car outright, with no outstanding loans or judgments against it. To get a title loan you need to have a clear or lien-free car title.
How much can I borrow?
Your title loan amount depends on the value of your vehicle. The maximum you can obtain is $15,000.
What if my car title is not in my name?
To get a title loan you need to have the vehicle title in your name. You will need to go to the DMV and have the title transferred to your name prior to applying for a loan.
